2024 Southeast Regional Transplant Summit
October 12, 2024 from 08:00am to 03:30pm EDT
The 2024 Southeast Regional Transplant Summit (the "Summit") brings together leaders in the field of transplantation to share the latest scientific advancements in the perioperative care of solid organ transplant patients. The Summit strives to facilitate the multidisciplinary adoption of new research results and practice guidelines in kidney, liver, lung, and pediatric multi-organ transplantation. This interactive conference features didactic and video-based presentations on current research as well as interactive debates and discussions of interesting and challenging case studies. Participants will engage in question-and-answer sessions and learn from transplantation experts. Afternoon organs-specific breakout sessions are available for focused learning.
The information in this activity will be relevant to the needs of professionals who manage patients with end-stage organ failure, refer patients for transplantation, and participate in the care of patients after transplantation. Specifically, the curriculum is designed to meet the needs of adult and pediatric surgeons, anesthesiologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, nephrologists, hepatologists, gastroenterologists, primary care providers, advanced practitioners, transplant coordinators, nurses, and pharmacists.
A virtual attendance option is available for live morning sessions and enduring content. All Transplant Providers are encouraged to also register for the Duke Transplant Advanced Practice Provider Bootcamp to be held on Friday, October 11, 2024.
This course was endorsed by the American Society of Transplantation.
