Objectives
1. Be aware of organ allocation strategies including the expansion of criteria for deceased donor donation
2. Utilize recent scientific breakthroughs in capabilities to decrease organ discard
3. Discuss and apply ethical principles and practices when utilizing medically complex donors
4. Integrate emerging technologies into practice
5. Discuss the psychosocial and financial aspect of donation with prospective donors, especially unrelated donors
6. Utilize new recommendations regarding strategies to minimize adverse impacts
7. Apply state of the art techniques to improve rates of adverse outcomes
8. Review the legal ramifications of living organ donation
