This CME symposium will offer approximately 20 hours of continuing medical education and is geared towards nephrologists, pulmonologists, hepatologists, cardiologists, gastroenterologists, and allied health professionals dedicated to the treatment and management of transplantation recipients and patients with end-stage organ diseases. The symposium will feature two concurrent educational tracks, Thoracic and Abdominal, both focusing on the appropriate care of transplant recipients and donors before, during, and after transplantation.

- Referral and transplantation criteria for major transplant indications including COPD, cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension
- Emerging therapies in the treatment of pulmonary hypertension
- The new Kidney Allocation System
- Current practice and recent advances within dialysis, nephrology and transplantation
- Current and emerging therapeutic regimens to improve treatment decision-making for transplant recipients with cirrhosis
- Treatment strategies for HCC
- The future of Islet transplantation
- Intestinal transplantation techniques
- New intestinal rehabilitation strategies
