Is the Fellows Symposium right for me?
This symposium is designed for and limited to clinical fellows and residents, surgical fellows, research fellows, pharmacists and other trainees who are planning a career in transplantation medicine, surgery, or research. The symposium offers an in-depth and interactive study of clinical transplantation, basic transplant immunobiology, and translational science while offering important insights into career development and unparalleled access to expert faculty. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the field of solid organ transplantation from experts in both basic science and clinical care. Attendees will be exposed to the entire spectrum of clinical, research, and translational science and career opportunities in the exciting field of transplantation. Non-doctoral allied health professionals may also find the content of interest, but registration is limited for these fields.
What is the program like?
All attendees will learn together in one room. There are several breakout sessions with opportunities to hear specialty-specific sessions and drill down to topics of particular interest to you. The program also includes informal discussions with faculty during meals and recreational and social activities. The goal of this program is to encourage attendees to use the faculty as a resource and engage in broad-ranging discussion. This is the perfect opportunity to meet new professionals in the field of transplantation, garner knowledge from experts, and obtain advice and guidance on career decisions.
Where is the meeting?
The symposium will take place at the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center in Grapevine, Texas. The conference center is centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth, and is just four miles from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. The Hilton DFW Lakes is certified by the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC).
