Options IX for the Control of Influenza is the event held every three years that highlights the best in influenza science and research from institutions all over the world. Leading researchers and specialists in the field of respiratory virus diseases will converge in Chicago August 24-28, 2016 for four and a half days of learning, exchange of ideas, collaboration and networking.
The Options IX scientific program has been organized by three Scientific Advisory Committee Work Groups on Clinical Science, Public Health, and Virology and Pathogenesis. The program covers every aspect of influenza – from clinical studies and epidemiology to treating and preventing influenza in unique populations. Science sessions are prepared and moderated by world-renowned faculty discussing controversies in the field, complications of influenza, new therapies, and more.
