AST Elections Announcement

The AST is pleased to announce the results of the 2014 board elections:

President-Elect: James Allan, MD, MBA
Treasurer: Thomas Pearson, MD, DPhil

Councilors-at-Large:
Sharon Bartosh, MD
Richard Formica, MD
Josh Levitsky, MD

The results of the board elections were announced during the Town Hall meeting at the WTC in San Francisco, on July 29. Along with the elections, it was also announced that the three revisions to the AST Bylaws were passed. The Bylaw changes were:

1. To change eligibility criteria for Emeritus membership so that individuals must be 65 years of age and have retired from practice.
2. To disband the membership committee
3. To recognize the Town Hall format for the annual members' business meeting
