Interested in Joining a Committee?
The AST is seeking experienced and knowledgeable people to fill available positions on several of its committees. Volunteers who serve on these committees make crucial decisions that shape AST’s mission of promoting scientific initiatives, fostering professional education, and improving patient care.
Diversity in our leadership is essential to the continued success of the Society. Diversity is considered through many lenses, including expertise and skills, specialty, location, and cultural, racial, and ethnic demographics. These elements are important for the AST to maintain its commitment to inclusivity and meet the needs of both its members and the transplant community we serve. The AST does not currently collect self-identified demographics as part of its membership application. Please help us by providing this information to help us better understand the composition of our membership.
All AST committee appointments are made by the President-elect and approved by the AST Board of Directors. The term of service begins at the ATC Annual Meeting. Most terms for At-Large positions are 2-3 years. Please take a few minutes to note your specific interests in a brief survey.
