Support the Field of Transplantation
The American Society of Transplantation is a Mount Laurel, NJ-based 501c(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the field of transplantation and improving patient care by promoting research, education, advocacy, organ donation, and service to the community.
Why Donations Are Needed
When a patient receives an organ transplant, their journey is far from over. Transplant recipients are required to take lifelong medication to prevent their new organ from rejecting. These medications are essential, but can result in significant issues, such as cancers and infections. We need more research in the field of transplantation to improve the lives of transplant recipients and reduce the number of rejected organs. Learn more about the research we have funded here. The AST is also dedicated to Advocacy efforts that directly impact the transplant community. Learn more about the current issues here.Donations directed towards our Education and Fellows categories directly support the development of transplant professionals.
